Instead of separate products and brands, the Expandiverse adds a new "People-First" model:
Every person is elevated to control their devices, digital environments, interfaces and privacy.

The Expandiverse makes every person "Digitally Wealthy" by using real devices, virtual devices and subsidiary devices — so everyone adds new abilities to benefit from humanity’s combined devices, knowledge and resources.

Competitive Analysis: Devices Industry

Electronic Devices: $1 Trillion Market of Phones, Tablets, Laptops, PC's, Wearables, etc.

The Expandiverse “devices model” includes physical devices, virtual devices and subsidiary devices.

This gives each user control over their “family of devices.” Each person controls their digital environments. Their personal digital environment moves with them as they switch from device to device, place to place and time to time.

This also makes the world of devices into sharable resources where everyone can add devices for sharing, like their old phones and laptops. They can also use others' shared devices instead of buying a specialized device or resource. This creates a worldwide sharing industry of devices and resources. In a "sharing credits" business model people can exchange sharing so they don't need to buy every device, app and resource. In a "pay-for-use" business model device owners, vendors and sharing services all receive revenues.

Devices are part of the Expandiverse people-first model. This elevates every person to decide their devices, digital environments, interfaces and privacy.

Competitive Analysis: Communications Industry

Communications, Collaborations, Digital Environments, Metaverses: $1.8 Trillion Market of Telecoms, Video Conferencing, Online Events, Etc.

The Expandiverse "online-first" model adds “Shared Life Spaces” (SLS). These are user-controlled “digital environments” for work, life and play. Each SLS includes always-on people, in real, virtual or hybrid places, with their apps, services, resources and other components. You flip between your Shared Spaces and are logged in to everything "there." You're messaged when not present, so you enjoy multiple "live presences" and flip between them.

These "people-first" digital environments replace telecoms, video conferencing, online events, physical retail, etc.

  • Shared Life Spaces (SLS) work across the user’s “family of devices,” above.
  • SLS include user-controlled digital advertising and content, below.
  • They can also include the privacy and protections, below.

Communications are part of the Expandiverse people-first model that elevates every person to decide their devices, digital environments, interfaces and privacy.

Competitive Analysis: Digital Advertising Industry

Digital Advertising:  $468 Billion Market that Apple just joined by requiring 30% of App Advertising Revenues to be paid to Apple's App Store

The Expandiverse "advertising" model elevates users to decide and control their interfaces. Users choose their goals, which can include personal and planetary goals like living more sustainably to help end the climate crisis. With this goal, users see more sustainable choices in ads and content, and their results and impacts from their actions. They can change areas like food, energy, water, house, transportation and more.

User goals are instructions that replace ads and content in user-controlled interfaces across each user’s “family of devices.” Each person sees the best choices to help them reach their goals. The new ad revenues go to the third-parties that perform user-directed replacements, in the users’ interfaces on their devices.

Digital advertising and content are part of the Expandiverse people-first model that elevates every person to decide their devices, digital environments, interfaces and privacy.

Competitive Analysis: Privacy and Digital Protections

Privacy and Protections: What Consumers and People Want (and a core value of Apple's brand)

The Expandiverse "privacy and protections" model adds seven new kinds of privacy and digital protections for our fast-arriving online-first planet. For a commerce example, users can make their goals and their advertising replacements private between them and those who provide the replacements, products and services. By choosing privacy, the old surveillance advertising platforms are not told what privacy-first users want, the replacements they make, and the actions they take.

Another privacy example is "Digital Freedom from Dictatorships," to add a protected virtual layer for people who live under autocratic governments.

Each person's protection settings can be saved, shared personally or distributed widely. Others can try them quickly, and easily switch to the safety increases they want.

These protections also support the Expandiverse people-first models above. Users are elevated to enjoy protected families of devices, protected digital environments, and protected interfaces, ads and content.
